Brand Design
Film Graphics

year:

A returning and cherished client, Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries reached out for help designing an eight-week course that helps teenagers navigate mental health issues. A project like this was big enough that it required its own brand: one related to Sanctuary’s main brand while retaining its own distinct qualities, like a child resembles their birth parent. Thankfully, having worked on Sanctuary’s rebrand in 2018, I was intimately familiar with their overall image.

Description:

Collaborating with Sanctuary’s in-house graphic designer and film producer, I helped create a cohesive subbrand for the youth series, ensuring the graphics produced for the films aligned with the rest of the course materials, such as workbooks and promotional materials. Our focus was to create a brand that felt playful, energetic, and adaptable—one that communicates heavy subjects in a friendly, relatable manner for this young audience. In this, we equipped Sanctuary to connect with a previously unreached group, offering non-anxious support about a life-saving topic.

"I first met Daniela in 2018. We were both contracted to work with Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries, a small organization that was preparing to rebrand and launch online multimedia educational resources. We worked together fairly closely over the course of several months as she provided comprehensive designs for curriculum, accompanying films, and a website. Daniela was incredibly prompt, highly responsive to feedback, solutions-oriented, creative, and a joy to work with. To this day, Sanctuary receives complements on the quality of our branding. More recently, we undertook our most complex multimedia project to date. Daniela was our top choice for graphic design, and we were thrilled when she took on the project. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for accomplished, aesthetic, functional design."
